Lighthouse Foundation for Adolescent Health Uganda is a multidisciplinary adolescent health and development organization committed to delivering structured medical outreach, mental health support, psychosocial services, counseling, mentorship, and school and community-based programs across Uganda.

Position Overview

As we expand our outreach operations, we invite qualified nursing professionals to join our locum field team. This is a contractor position based in Kampala, Uganda, with availability for 2 positions (1 Female, 1 Male).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and medical support in adolescent health outreach programs
• Support structured medical outreach initiatives across Uganda
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians and laboratory personnel
• Work in school and community-based settings, including faith-based environments
• Contribute to mental health support and psychosocial services delivery

Required Qualifications

• Professional certificate or relevant academic qualification in nursing
• Valid practicing license
• Demonstrated professionalism and ethical conduct

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Strong public speaking and facilitation skills
• Experience in community health programs
• Willingness to work with adolescents in diverse settings
• Experience working in school and community-based programs
• Ability to work effectively in faith-based environments
