About Machapala Group
Machapala Group is recruiting for its subsidiary, Machame Refineries, a fast-growing energy company commissioning a state-of-the-art pyrolysis plant in Nyenga, Jinja. The plant will convert waste tyres and plastics into pyrolysis oil and other sustainable fuels, contributing to industrial energy solutions and circular economy development.
Job Summary
The Finance & Admin Officer is responsible for managing financial operations, procurement processes, administrative functions, and compliance requirements to support efficient plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, record, and report financial transactions and invoicing accurately
- Manage procurement processes and inventory systems effectively
- Fulfill payroll, statutory obligations, and compliance requirements in a timely manner
- Conduct financial analysis and cost monitoring to support operational efficiency and decision-making
- Maintain administrative records, documentation, and reporting systems properly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in finance or accounting
- Professional accounting qualifications (advantageous)
