## Title: IT Support Officer

Vaal Real Estate Uganda Limited is seeking a dynamic IT Support Officer to join our expanding team.

Full-time position based in Kampala, Uganda

Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and access issues
Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and escalate complex issues to IT Manager
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Perform scheduled system maintenance, updates, patches, antivirus scans, and performance checks
Support LAN, wireless connectivity, internet services, and basic server access
Manage IT helpdesk system – log, track, prioritize, and resolve tickets within SLAs
Support user lifecycle activities including onboarding/offboarding, account management, access control, and password resets
Provide end-user training on systems, applications, and cybersecurity awareness
Enforce IT security standards, access control, data protection, and device security policies
Maintain IT asset registers, system documentation, and configuration records
Identify recurring issues and recommend technical solutions or improvements
Support IT projects including system upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
