Manager – Technical Services

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Technology Consults Limited as Manager – Technical Services. In this role, you will deputise the Managing Director and provide technical leadership and operational oversight for all consultancy assignments. You will ensure quality assurance, compliance, innovation, efficient project execution, and technical excellence while supporting business development and client relationship management.

To deputise the MD and provide technical leadership and operational oversight for all consultancy assignments, ensuring quality assurance, compliance, innovation, efficient project execution, and technical excellence while supporting business development and client relationship management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Technical and Project Management

• Provide technical leadership in all TECO consultancy assignments
• Prepare BIDs and Terms of Reference for Consultants to be recruited on Projects
• Coordinate preparation and review of designs, drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities, and technical reports
• Ensure projects are implemented in line with approved designs, budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Supervise technical teams, consultants, and site activities to ensure efficiency and accountability
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control assessments, and progress reviews
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, statutory regulations, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards

Business Development and Client Management

• Support business development initiatives through proposal preparation and technical presentations

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: UGX per month (negotiable based on experience)
