Online Engagement Officer

About the Role

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) is seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Online Engagement Officer. This contractor position is based in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor TFF's social media platforms and online communities
• Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing audience engagement strategies across digital and traditional platforms
• Analyze engagement metrics and prepare performance reports
• Coordinate online campaigns, promotions, and fan interaction activities
• Work closely with the media team to ensure consistent and engaging content

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and analytics tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Passion for football and knowledge of sports trends
• Proven experience in social media management or digital engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sports organizations or digital media
• Skills in content creation (graphics, video, or copywriting)
