About the Role

Yalelo Uganda is hiring a Data Entry Specialist responsible for accurate capture, validation, monitoring, and reporting of operational transactions across Processing and Distribution Operations. The role supports inventory accountability, operational traceability, barcode integrity, and data accuracy within approved operational systems.

Key Systems & Platforms

You will work with approved operational systems including YU360, Logman, Aqua Manager, D365, barcode scanning devices, and other approved operational platforms.

Operational Areas

Under the direction of the relevant Inventory Data Supervisor, you may be assigned to support:

• Biomass Verification Operations
• Line 1 Whole Round Processing Operations
• High Value Processing Operations
• Packing Operations
• Dispatch Operations
• Warehouse Operations
• Inventory Movement Activities
• Barcode Operations
• Transfer Order Activities
• Reconciliation Support Activities

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Data Capture

• Capture operational transactions accurately and in real time
• Record weights, quantities, pieces, SKUs, batches, warehouse allocations, and inventory movements
• Maintain accurate operational records within approved systems
• Verify source documentation before transaction submission

Inventory & Traceability Management

• Ensure accurate batch traceability
• Verify barcode allocations and movements
• Maintain inventory accountability throughout assigned operations
• Support reconciliation activities when required

Barcode Operations

• Operate barcode scanners and related equipment
