Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL) is a joint venture company owned by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Tanzania Prisons Service. The company is engaged in the production of quality sugar and related downstream products including bio-ethanol, particle boards, and pulp. MHCL is currently implementing a major sugar production project at Mbigiri Estate in Kilosa District, Morogoro Region, with a target production capacity of 50,000 metric tons of sugar annually once fully operational.

Position Overview

This role represents an excellent career development opportunity. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Technician – Mills and will support the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of mechanical equipment within the sugar processing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair of mills, conveyors, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical faults and conduct corrective maintenance
• Perform fitting, welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication works
• Conduct machine inspections and cleaning
• Participate in installation activities and planned shutdown maintenance
• Support workshop operations while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
