About the Role

Dar es Salaam Independent School is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate teachers for Physics and Mathematics positions at the IGCSE and A-Level levels. This is a full-time position for the school year 2026/27.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress
• Maintain accurate academic records and reports
• Participate in co-curricular and school activities
• Promote a positive and engaging learning environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a relevant subject area
• Teaching qualification or a degree in Education
• Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level curriculum
• Master's Degree (added advantage)

• Strong communication skills
• Classroom management skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
