Relieving Sales Assistants needed to work between stores in Cape Town

Well known biltong brand is looking to recruit TWO experienced Sales Assistants with a passion for retail and customer service to join our company to work between 12 locations within Cape Town. The job function will be to relieve employees when they take annual leave. Market related salary + travel allowance + incentives. Our team members are responsible for: • Providing each customer with world class customer service. • Interacting with each customer on a professional and friendly manner. • Ensuring the store performs and reaches set budgets/targets. • Ensuring turnover growth and profitability of the store by means of using selling skills. • Ensuring store is well maintained, clean and presentable at all times. • Administration duties (cash-up, stocktaking, ordering/receiving) and operating POS system. • Working set shifts in accordance with mall trading hours, which includes most weekends and public holidays. • Adhering to all company and store policies, procedures and instructions. Requirements: for this role: • Minimum 4 year’s (uninterrupted) retail sales experience for at least one FMCG employer. • Matric (grade 12) a must.

• Some sort of supervisor or junior management experience a must with proven track record.

• Strong cash management and administration skills. • Friendly and energetic customer service skills a must. • Excellent communication & verbal skills a must. • Work well within a team, but also capable of working alone and take Key Responsibilities: • Computer literate and experienced in operating a Point of Sale System. • Able to travel to and from the different stores without hassle and able to make alternative arrangements if necessary. • Able to work at any of our retail locations within the greater Cape Town area as per operational requirements and comply with mall trading hours. • Passion for retail and the willingness to learn, grow and advance in your professional life.
