General Worker – Garden Maintenance (Part-Time)

About the Role

Marais Landscaping is seeking a reliable and hardworking general worker to assist with garden maintenance and landscaping work in the Northern Suburbs.

Position Details

• 3–4 days per week
• Residential garden maintenance and landscaping work
• Pickup and drop-off at Brights Hardware, Plattekloof Village Shopping Centre
• Work primarily in the Northern Suburbs and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, trimming and edging
• Weeding and garden clean-ups
• Assisting with planting and landscaping work
• Loading, unloading and moving materials
• General site cleaning and labour

Requirements

• South African citizen with a valid ID
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Able to travel reliably to Brights Hardware, Plattekloof Village Shopping Centre for pickup and drop-off

Experience

Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, construction or general labour is beneficial, but not essential.

Remuneration

R30–R40 per hour depending on experience and suitability.
