About the Project

The School-Based Integrated Nutrition and Hygiene Improvement Project (NHIP) operates across four target schools in Nyamata and Mayange, Rwanda. The project aims to improve school meal nutrition, enhance hygiene environments, and increase community awareness of healthy behaviors.

• Location: Nyamata Sector, Bugesera District, Rwanda
• Employment Period: June 15, 2026 – November 30, 2026 (5 months, subject to project contract and organizational requirements)
• Salary: Negotiable (commensurate with experience)

Position Purpose

The NHIP Project Officer will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities related to nutrition and hygiene improvement across target schools. This role is critical to driving meaningful impact on students' nutritional status, hygiene environments, and daily practices.
