General Kitchen Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to join our team at XPRESSO CAFE in Brackenfell. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role best suited for someone who is physically strong, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing batters and preparing ingredients
• Assisting with baking a variety of products
• Heavy lifting and moving of stock and materials
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Supporting the production team to meet daily targets

Requirements

• Matric (Essential)
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work long hours when required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Previous experience in a kitchen or factory environment is advantageous, but not required
