About the Role
Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking an experienced and qualified Administration Supervisor to join their growing team. In this role, you will coordinate and control the quality of work activities within a clerical and administrative team, ensuring accurate and on-time processing of data on business systems, record keeping, and document control while contributing to managerial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel arrangements for all company staff
- Manage communication equipment and contracts for all company staff, including cell phones, data cards, and tablets
- Manage and coordinate office rental equipment and related contracts nationally
- Assist with head office catering and event arrangements
- Supervise head office reception and cleaning staff
- Administer and procure head office refreshments
- Manage petty cash accountability and administration
- Procure, coordinate, and manage uniforms and PPE for all staff
- Process purchase orders for administrative goods and services for head office staff
- Execute own work and team work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with governance, compliance processes, occupational health and safety policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-year degree (NQF Level 7)
- Valid driver's license
Experience and Skills Required
- Up to 5 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 2 years of tactical leadership or specialist experience
- Very good administration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player mentality
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
