Sample Catcher at GEOLOG

Position Overview

We are seeking Sample Catchers with varying levels of experience to join our Ghana operations. This is a hands-on role working within a dynamic exploration environment.

Work Schedule

• 12 hours per day, 7 days a week on a flexible rotation schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve, wash, and prepare cutting samples
• Assist the Surface Logger and Senior Surface Logger with other activities as requested
• Comply with all quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures established by the company and clients to ensure a safe working environment

Required Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Technical or Earth Sciences-related field, OR previous experience as a Sample Catcher for a minimum of 6 months
• Proven, extensive knowledge of rig safety regulations and safety issues
• Analytical and methodical approach to work
• Fluent English communication skills
• Ability to pass work-related physical and drug screening
