Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Under the supervision of the Local Procurement & Property Administration Head, you will carry out local purchasing activities for the company, ensure smooth communication with all parties involved, monitor field status, and ensure that raw materials and products are procured and transported in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out local purchasing activities of the company
• Ensure that local purchasing activities are carried out in line with company policies and procedures
• Correspond with different government and non-government organizations
• Review purchase requisitions from local sources for proper authorization and budget clearance
• Ensure accuracy of part numbers, specifications, quality standards, and units of quantity
• Prepare and distribute invitation letters to suppliers or agents for quotations
• Follow up on the arrival of purchased items and conduct correspondence with suppliers and agents
• Control the collection of items purchased after thorough inspection
• Follow up on inspection of purchased items and report to supervisor and suppliers regarding any damaged or short-landed goods
• Follow up on recovery or compensation as per agreement, purchase orders, and procedures
