Job Summary
New Leaf Medical Complex (NLMC) is seeking motivated and compassionate Junior Nurses to join our clinical team across multiple departments including Emergency & Critical Care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatrics, Surgical Ward, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Operating Room (OR).
This role is designed for early-career nurses to deliver safe and effective patient care under supervision while building strong clinical competence in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment. You will support high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols, nursing standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care Delivery
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in Emergency, Critical Care, NICU, Pediatrics, Surgical Ward, ICU, and OR under supervision
- Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and clinical conditions accurately
- Assist in pre-operative, post-operative, neonatal, and pediatric patient care
- Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, safety, and emotional support
Clinical Assistance & Procedures
- Assist senior nurses and physicians during medical, surgical, and emergency procedures
- Prepare and organize medical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures
- Support medication administration, wound care, and routine nursing procedures under supervision
- Strictly follow infection prevention and control (IPC) standards
Emergency, Critical & Neonatal Care Support
- Assist in emergency triage, stabilization, and urgent patient care interventions
- Support ICU and NICU patient monitoring and documentation
- Respond promptly to critical and life-threatening patient conditions under supervision
Pediatrics & Surgical Care Support
- Assist in the care and monitoring of pediatric patients
- Support safe and compassionate nursing care for children and surgical patients
- Assist in perioperative care processes in the surgical and OR units
Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical observations
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the nursing team and supervising nurses
