Junior Network Infrastructure Administration

About the Position

Akufada Microfinance Institution S.c seeks a dedicated Junior Network Administrator to ensure proper installation, security, and support for the organization's computer network and computing systems. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating network systems for performance and security.

Job Summary

The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and securing the MFI's network infrastructure, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), servers, and other data communications networks. You will perform network maintenance to ensure systems operate correctly with minimal interruption and provide effective IT service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and control the MFI's entire network system
• Monitor and control server and workstation communications and resource sharing
• Identify problems and provide solutions in case of system and/or component failure
• Develop procedures and create backups of network data based on established protocols
• Configure security settings and access permissions for groups or individuals
• Liaise with hardware and system vendors
