Position Overview

The Junior Procurement Officer will support Dodai's Procurement and Logistics team by managing day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring that goods and services are sourced effectively and at competitive prices. This role involves handling purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplier relationships, and coordinating with internal departments to meet their procurement needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and submit accurate purchase orders with correct specifications and quantities
• Track purchase orders through to delivery, ensuring timely completion of each stage
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and manage routine communications such as order confirmations and follow-ups
• Conduct market research on suppliers and industry trends to support procurement strategies
• Verify and process supplier invoices by matching them with purchase orders and delivery records
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
• Prepare and submit procurement reports on a weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare procurement reports, analyze market trends, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies
• Handle vendor communication and contract management
• Support the negotiation process for favorable terms on products and services
