Junior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team at Garad PLC in Addis Ababa. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to support daily accounting operations while developing your skills in financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting records
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
• Assist senior accountants with payroll and financial reporting
• Help ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and financial regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects and tasks as assigned
