About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to lead Akufada Microfinance Institution. As CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring sustainable growth and profitability of the MFI by setting its strategic direction and leading the implementation of organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and direction setting for Akufada MFI, establishing and communicating clear goals and performance targets
• Provide strategic leadership and transform the institution's business operations to higher performance levels
• Direct the formulation of appropriate policies and practices for organizational operations
• Cultivate a working environment that celebrates success and promotes teamwork, collaboration, and transparency across all units
• Build and maintain productive relationships with external entities and stakeholders
• Broaden and enhance the MFI's industry coverage and market reach
• Monitor and evaluate Akufada's performance and maintain strategic alignment
• Oversee and direct customer relationship management across the MFI
• Create and maintain an organizational culture valued by both employees and customers
• Ensure all operational activities align with the mission and objectives of Akufada MFI and comply with financial laws, regulations, and applicable legislation
• Review operational policies, manuals, and procedures for necessary amendments and forward recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval
