About the Role

Yaounde International Business School (YIBS) is seeking a strategic Human Resource Manager to lead and develop the institution's HR function. This role is central to building a strong organizational culture and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems in line with regulatory requirements and institutional goals
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and talent management to attract and retain top talent
• Administer compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, and ensure compliance with Cameroon labour laws
• Foster a positive workplace culture, employee relations, and effective communication across departments
• Manage performance management programmes, learning and development initiatives, and succession planning

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience in a private higher education institution (preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining confidentiality with diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to work in Yaoundé, Cameroon
