Printer Field Technician

About the Role

Iconik Business Solutions is seeking a skilled and reliable Printer Technician to join our team in Kloof. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with printer repairs and a solid understanding of basic networking and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain office printers, specifically Ricoh and Olivetti devices
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network-connected printers
• Set up and manage SMTP settings for scan-to-email functionality
• Provide basic support for PABX and VoIP systems
• Perform on-site service calls and client support
• Ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and minimize downtime

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Printer Technician
• Strong knowledge of Ricoh and Olivetti printer repairs
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, connectivity, troubleshooting)
• Experience with SMTP configuration for printers
• Understanding of PABX and VoIP systems
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
