## Title: Sales Assistant – Upmarket Retail Store

About the Role

Chioma is seeking a Sales Assistant for our upmarket retail store in Camps Bay. You will be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through product knowledge and genuine engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and offer assistance in a warm and professional manner
Recommend products and merchandise to help customers find what they need
Answer customer questions and address concerns promptly
Inform customers about sales, promotions, and store policies
Demonstrate how products work and their features
Process payments and package purchases accurately
Stock merchandise and create attractive retail displays
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Monitor inventory and the sales floor

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a retail store environment
Matric Certificate
Valid South African ID or valid work permit

Required Skills and Attributes

Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic mathematics
Professional appearance and demeanor
Friendly and outgoing personality
Genuine concern for others and desire to help
Knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems
Strong customer service skills
Flexibility to work different shifts

Employment Terms

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Base Salary: R6,000 per month
Commission: Individual commission incentive upon reaching monthly sales target, plus store target incentive
