Aluminium Fitter / Installer (Windows & Doors)

Position Overview

An established company based in Shakaskraal, Ballito is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fitter / Installer to join their team in the aluminium industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of aluminium windows, doors, and shopfront systems on-site, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with quality standards.

This is a site-based position requiring a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with strong technical ability and professionalism when dealing with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install aluminium windows, doors, and shopfront systems according to specifications
• Read and interpret shop drawings and floor plans accurately
• Ensure correct alignment, levelling, and finishing of all installations
• Carry out glazing, sealing, and final finishing to a high standard
• Inspect installations to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and resolve installation challenges on-site
• Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with clients on-site
• Comply with all company procedures, health and safety regulations, and site requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in aluminium installation
• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Excellent technical understanding of aluminium installation processes
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Professional conduct when interacting with clients and team members
